Rickey Tarfa & Company was established in 1988 with the vision of ranking amongst the foremost law firms in Nigeria in terms of excellence in the provision of quality legal services to clients. Though it commenced operations with only 3 lawyers, Rickey Tarfa & Co. has expanded over the years to over 40 lawyers, over 30 paralegal and support staff as well as having a retired Chief Judge of the Federal High Court and a Retired Judge of the High Court of Lagos State as the Consultants-in-Chambers.

Rickey Tarfa & Co. is headed by the Principal Counsel/Head of Practice, Rickey M. Tarfa, Esq., Senior Advocate of Nigeria (the equivalent of a Queens Counsel in England); our Head of Chambers and Deputy Head of Chambers, John Olusegun Odubela and Olusegun O. Jolaawo are also Senior Advocates of Nigeria (the equivalent of a Queens Counsel in England).

The firm has offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Yola, Adamawa State where we provide quality services to our clients. We also have an affiliate firm in the United States of America. All the offices are fully equipped with up to date facilities and libraries with comprehensive titles covering the various legal systems of Nigeria and those of several other Countries.

The law firm has been listed since 1995 in the KIMES International Directory produced by Pearson Professional Publishers Limited of FT Law & Tax in London, and is also listed in the Chambers Global Legal Directory.
